ARE YOU READY? STAND BY FOR YOUR GUN DRAWING!
Grand Master Guns
Photo Reference
The first step in our process of creating your artwork is having a great piece of photo reference. If you live locally Matt can photograph your firearm. If not, send him photos of your favorite firearm to get the process started.
Collaboration
After deciding upon piece of photo reference that is when the fun begins. Matt can offer up options on color, size and framing. He can certainly mock up some digital sketches for you before moving onto the final drawing.
Finished Artwork
Finished artwork can take anywhere from two to four weeks to complete depending on Matt’s schedule. Drawings can take anywhere from five to thirty hours depending on the complexity of the firearm and the size of the art.
Your Second Amendment proudly displayed
Now is a great time to display your favorite firearm in your reloading room, home office or den for that matter. Collaboration is the key to creating a smooth process. The more details Matt can receive about your space the better. The drawings displayed below are drawn on painted illustration board with a black pencil. Matt can customize the background color to match with your room’s vibe.
Pricing
Handguns
There are many factors that come into pricing. Handgun drawings start at $397.00. I recommend displaying the drawing in a 16 x 20 inch frame with an 11 x 14 inch matte. Of course all colors can be customized to match with your dry fire room.
Carbines
PCC style drawings start at $597.00. These drawings take much longer to complete due to their size. Carbine style drawings require many hours to complete. Most drawings are completed in pencil on painted illustration board.
Matt been working as a professional artist since 1990. He is certainly a Grand Master in drawing and painting. In competitive shooting he is an “A” class shooter working his way up to Grand Master for sure. Matt worked as a freelance book cover artist for eighteen years progressing onto creating his own online school.
Today Matt divides his time between teaching, creating art as well as shooting competitive USPSA and Knock Down Steel matches. Matt teaches his students to combine what they love with their passion for art. Matt is beyond passionate for competitive shooting as well as drawing and painting. A rare combination to say the least.
